If thou art on the lookout for some misalettes to give to a friend, or your children, or whoeverl, I am going to recommend you the one published by Angelus Press. Pope receives new Papal Tiara

Today at the Pope's general audience, he was presented with a new PAPAL TIARA!!!!!!!!! YES! It was a gift and an ecumenical action from both us Catholic and the Orthodox. It was crafted by the wonderful and extremely beautiful Orthodox company, Liturgix. Have you SEEN their vestments? Truly, they're blessed with talented artists. Anyhow, here is a report from the beautiful blog, Orbis Catholicus Secundum.

At today's weekly general audience the Holy Father received a new tiara made for him and presented by Catholic and Orthodox Christians.

The tiara was commissioned by Dieter Philippi (http://www.dieter-philippi.de/), a German Catholic businessman who has a great devotion to the papacy as well as to the call to Christian unity.

The tiara was created in Sofia, Bulgaria by Orthodox Christians of the Liturgix studio (http://www.liturgix.com/).

Today a small delegation of Roman Catholics and Bulgarian Orthodox on pilgrimage in Rome had the honor to present the tiara to the Holy Father in the name of Christian unity.

Congratulations to Dieter and to all German Catholics and Bulgarian Orthodox involved with this wonderful project.

Ut Unum Sint!

Now, how wonderful!

I really pray for a return to the Papal tiara! Though, getting people to understand it's reasons will be difficult. That's okay.

What do you think about the Papal Tiara? Let me know in the comment box.....!

God Bless!
Pray for the Pope!

Abortion: Bloody murderous slaughter of the unborn.

In Canada, the unborn child has absolutely no right to life, and unfourtunately, abortions are free of cost and easily accessible, which is just as bad. Is it too much to ask for? Too much to ask for to stop the murder and slaughter of innocent children? It will be a hard struggle in Canada now, especially since the NDP is in opposition. The so-called "New Democratic Party" also known by us as the "National Death Party"  is an extremely radical force in the pro-choice world. Please, write to your Member of Parliament and find out what their stance of abortion is. Are they in line with the teachings of the one, holy, Catholic and apostolic Church? Are they dissident. Ask them to try and stop this bloody murder and slaughter of human beings. Life begins at conception, when else would it begin?

Never was it known, that anyone who implored thy help ...

Or sought thine intercession was left unaided.
May is the Month of Mary!
This is one of my favourite pictures of Our Lady of Peace! This was painted by Evelyn de Morgan.
Holy Mary, Mother of God! Pray for us!

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me.
Amen.

We fly to thy patronage,
O holy Mother of God;
despise not our petitions in our necessities,
but deliver us always from all dangers,
O glorious and blessed Virgin. Amen.

The May Altar

May is the month that we give to honouring the Blessed Virgin! This does not give excuses to wear blue vestments, or to dance around the church with a statue of Our Lady, nor does it give permission for any abuses a parish might make and use the month of May as an excuse. No way, no how. There are many traditions used to honour and ask for the intercession of the most holy Mother of God, the Theotokos. One of these such is the crowning of the statue of the Blessed Virgin. Also, setting up a May altar in your home as a private way to venerate and as the intercession of the Immaculate Conception. Here's a beautiful video explaining this wonderful tradition in Ireland, England, Scotland, Wales and Newfoundland.

A Prayer for the Queen

A Prayer for Her Majesty the Queen
O Lord, save Elizabeth our Queen.
R. And hear us in the day when we call upon Thee.
Let us pray.
We beseech Thee, almighty God, that Thy servant Elizabeth our Queen, who has been called by Thy mercy to rule over this kingdom, may also receive from Thee an increase of all virtues. Fittingly adorned with these, may she be able to shun all evildoing, (in time of war: to conquer her enemies) and, finally, being well pleasing before Thee, together with her consort and the royal family, attain unto Thee who art the Way, the Truth and the Life. Through Chirst Our Lord.
R. Amen.

We've a CONSERVATIVE majority government!

Current Election

I am falling apart in my sat here watching the election. OH MY GOD! Conservatives are currently at 133 seats, and the New Democrats currently have 74. The Liberals have 30, and the Bloc has 5 and thankfully, the Green has NONE 0, none, zitch, zilch! The Conservatives need 155 seats OR above to get a majority, and the Conservatives are planning on de-funding Planned Parenthood. To compare them to out mother country's politics, the Conservatives, are of course the equivalent to the Conservatives. The Liberals are the equivalent to the Liberal Democrats. The New Democrats are the equivalent to the Labour. This is apparent more so in ideologies.

Conservative Party UK are: Conservatism, British Unionism, and Soft eurocepticism.
Canada's Conservatives are: just Conservatism.

The Liberal Democrats are: Liberalism, Social Liberalism
Canada's Liberals are: Centre, Centre-Left, Liberalism

Labour Party: Democratic-socialism, Social Democracy
NDP:  Democratic-socialism, Social Democracy

The ideologies of the NDP and Labour are the same. They are both also centre-left. The NDP is outspokenly pro-choice, and therefore not a good party to have as the opposition. They are also socialists, which just adds to the list. As of current, the polls say Conservative: 145  NDP: 98  Liberal: 32. No matter how hard they try the Bloc and Green aren't getting in....I don't even know how they expect it. 8 of the ridings in Quebec which had Bloc MP's, now have NDP ones! WOW.

I am quite happy with the number of Conservative members in, since A LOT of them are pro-life.

Now, as I end this writing the currents poll is: Conservative: 149 NDP: 100 Liberal: 31 Bloc: 4 Green: 0 Other: 4

Blesses Pope John Paul II
