Remember, O thou Man...

That sin is real, Hell is real. Sometimes in this world of ours, we tend to forget that sin is VERY real, and that Hell is VERY real. When we do something bad, we sometimes shrug it off and say, "oh, that dun'n matter!", when "Oh YES, it 'duz'!". How are we to attain eternal Salvation without being clean from sin?
-Oh, but I pray to God e.v.e.r.y. night, and ask for forgiveness, he forgives me! No matter what I do!-
While that is true(that nothing is "un-forgivable"), Christ can only forgive us if we repent through CONFESSION. And, only if we complete the PENANCE that the Priest, In Persona Christi, has given us.
We must pray to the Blessed Virgin for forgiveness, through the Act of Contrition, he intercession is O so Powerful!  We are all sinful, don't deny it. There was only the Blessed Virgin and our Lord who are sinless.

God is all Perfect, Just, Loving, Merciful, Forgiving. How could the Lord sin, when he was God? The Blessed Virgin, Mother of God, was preserved from Original sin, and was preserved from ALL SIN. The Blessed Virgin's soul is Pure! Nothing on earth can match the Purity of her soul!

We, humans, today, are sinners. If you are to say your are not with any sin, well then you are a heretical Hypocrite!

Thanks for the warning!

Thank You so much Suzanne! God Bless you!
Suzanne, who commented on my post about Canada not funding over-seas abortions, saying that Harper is not Pro-Life, he just isn't keen on paying for abortions....is he keen on paying anything? (I wonder how he gets his taxes done!).

Pray for the Church, Pray for the Pope! Pray that these baby murderers will stop.

God Bless.

Canada says NO to murdering babies!

It seems that, Harper truly is Pro-Life!!

Canada is refusing to fund abortion services as part of a G8 initiative to improve the health of mothers in poor countries.

Just as G8 officials arrived in Halifax for talks on the maternal-health initiative on Monday, the Conservative government said that other Group of Eight nations can finance projects that include abortion services if they choose –but Canada won't.

WOO HOO! WOO HOO!

This must have been challenging for him, because as Canada is a member of the Commonwealth of Nations, and is one of the Queen's favourites, and to Britian itself [technically]...Britian's government said 'yes', though, it was up to the Prime Minister of England, not the Queen...

God Bless you!

The Trance of Time

"Felix, qui potuit rerum cognoscere causas,

Atque metus omnes, et inexorabile fatum

Subjecit pedibus, strepitumque Acherontis avari!"

IN childhood, when with eager eyes

The season-measured year I view'd,

All garb'd in fairy guise,

Pledged constancy of good.

Spring sang of heaven; the summer flowers

Bade me gaze on, and did not fade;

Even suns o'er autumn's bowers

Heard my strong wish, and stay'd.

They came and went, the short-lived four;

Yet, as their varying dance they wove,

To my young heart each bore

Its own sure claim of love.

Far different now;—the whirling year

Vainly my dizzy eyes pursue;

And its fair tints appear

All blent in one dusk hue.

Why dwell on rich autumnal lights,

Spring-time, or winter's social ring?

Long days are fire-side nights,

Brown autumn is fresh spring.

Then what this world to thee, my heart?

Its gifts nor feed thee nor can bless.

Thou hast no owner's part

In all its fleetingness.

The flame, the storm, the quaking ground,

Earth's joy, earth's terror, nought is thine,

Thou must but hear the sound

Of the still voice divine.

O priceless art! O princely state!

E'en while by sense of change opprest,

Within to antedate

Heaven's Age of fearless rest.

So, we're out in the middle of the Ocean, in a small boat...

The Progressive wants to find a unique way to get back to the shore, because using the paddles are too traditional. Calling to shore with a phone (we're in the middle of the ocean, now) and ask for some diverse people to come out dancing in little rafts to push us ashore, while celebrating "d i v e r s i t y".

Another suggestion they had was that maybe we should praise dance on the boat and ask Brother Jesus to float down on a magical rainbow cloud and push us ashore, with felt banners!!!!!!!!!

Or, anything impossible, because rowing back is too Traditional.
How did we get out there in the first place?
_____________________________________________________________________________________

The point is, why are Progressives so difficult? So thinkheaded?
Our Lord, Jesus Christ does not appreciate people prancing up and down the isles of his Churches. He does not appreciate people finding different ways to experiment with the liturgy, where his BODY & BLOOD are made PRESENT, and consumed! Christ does not want people dancing around the monstrance like bloody-mad lunatics. The disrespect for Our Lord in the Eucharist that I have seen is absolutely DESPICABLE!

I'm of the Twitter!

Yes, yes! I'm on the Twitter!
Come, Follow me!
You know you wanna!
I also put a thing on the sidebar too!

Reform of the Reform

The Reform of the Reform is most definitely coming. There are signs. The obvious and the not so obvious.
Our Holy Pope Benedict is certainly reforming the reform.

Is you search "catholic mass" on Google, the majority of the results that you'll get are of the TLM, though, you may find a few with obvious liturgical abuse, the majority are of the TLM.
The Latin mass is distinguishably Catholic. It sets us apart from the rest of the world, as we are other-worldly.
First of all, it is in Latin, the language of the Universal church. It is prayed ad orientum, with the most beautiful Music you could ever hear. It is a true sacrifice.

The vernacular mass, when said properly is also very, very beautiful. The abuses that were encountered were on a cause of a misinterpretation, but that's not only to blame. Some (most) of the abuses were committed just of straight-out ignorance of the Rubrics. What Pope Paul VI himself said that "the smoke of Satan has entered our Church". He saw what was happening, what he didn't want to happen. I don't blame it on the council but on the times. It was the 60's. There were radicals and progressives everywhere you could set your eyes.

Now, today, the 21st century it is different. Abuses are now committed not from a mis-interpretation f the council, though there are some, but they are committed out of pure ignorance of the rubrics. I know for a fact the Cardinal Mahony is Los Angeles knows how the Mass should be prayed, and I am more than certain that the infamous Bishop Clark in Rochester, knows more than well that you are not supposed to put a lay person in charge of a Parish.

The Reform of the Reform is slowly happening, as to not shock the people with sudden change.
  • The New translation of the Mass
  • Parishes starting to face Ad Orientum
  • Dioceses making it a RULE to face Ad Orientum
  • The Tabernacle being placed in the Center of the church, which never did change.
  • Parishes incorporating more Latin into their liturgies.
  • More chant
  • More Mozart, Byrd and Tallis!
Thanks be to God, for our Holy Pope Benedict XVI.

God Bless!

The Persecution

Our church is under attack from the Media.
This is my new video.  Instead of typing it into a post, I thought the dramatic music of the video, the pictures and the motion would make it seem more convincing, except for my amateur typing skills!

On this very Day

'Tis the feast day of St. George. Some say it is a Protestant holiday, but it's not. Especially in Canada. Even more in Newfoundland, it is a Catholic feast day. It is a Catholic feast day everywhere! In celebration on England's pride, (well, their true pride, not the One, Feminine, Choice Church of England.)
Pray for Englands conversion!

O Saint George, Martyred for thy Faith in the Church,
Pray for Us and thy land, England, some of which has become astray from the Holy Mother Church.

Amen.

The Forgotten Saint...

Not many know about St. Rumwòld. He was an infant saint. Some may ask,
"How could a baby be a saint?", well, this was a blessed baby. On his first day, he said 3 times "I am Christian!", and wished to become baptized. There was no suitable baptismal font, so there was a suitable bowle at a nearbye cabin. It was hard to move, but then miraculously it became easy. Rumwòld new that he would die the next day. He wished to be buried where he was born for a year. Then to be moved, and to then now what is Buckingham. It is quite interesting, really. "The Forgotten Saint".

Any comments.....

An Open Letter, to Fr. Pfleger...

People have better things to do, than to ridicule our holy Priesthood, and our Holy Mother Church. Fr. Pfileger, seriously. Do you honestly think your notions will work? I hat to tell you but, you're wasting your time. When you preach, preach sensibly. Don't complain about the church not ordaining women, or celibacy. If that's the only reason your a Priest, Get Out.

What have you gotten yourself into, Your Eminence....

I have a copy of the Catholic Book of Worship III, which in the first few pages there is a letter from Bishop R a y m o n d    L a h e y . Yes, Raymond Lahey. I ask, what has he gotten himself into. First, he was charged with importing child ( you-know-what ). Now, he is charged with abusing boys while into the Mt. Cashel orphanage. I will give you a little background now, so you can understand better if you don't understand.

Mt. Cashel Orphanage, was an orphanage strictly for boys (as the Girls was run by the Sisters of Mercy & Presentation). Mt. Cashel (named after Mt. Cashel in Ireland), was ran by the Irish Christian Brothers. In this orphanage, abuse was carried out regularly by some of the Brothers (SOME, NOT ALL), almost routinely, as if it was scheduled. Now, not all Brothers, just some, but still, "some" is alot. There were the Good, and there were the Bad. Yes, the bad have been imprisoned, well some. They sought therapy! I think, that they have been ran on guilt trips 100 miles for what they did. The Good however, I believe, were rewarded. But however, Raymond Lahey was there for a few years ... he admitted to abusing one boy.
The good Archbishop of Newfoundland, has commented saying...
I'm saddened. I'm always saddened when these things happen ... because I honestly feel we have been trying our best to put these things behind us
I believe him. It is to say, everyone is saddened, because, Bishop Lahey befriended MANY people in Newfoundland, and in Nova Scotia. I watched the Good Archbishop on the tele say this, and you wouldn't believe the hurt in his eyes, almost of betrayal (I was surprised he didn't tear up). He was a friend of Bishop Lahey. Everyone was a friend of Bishop Lahey...everyone.

Do not lose faith though, it is only these certain priests. Not all Priests!! It is only these certain sick priests that have abuse children. People, anti-Catholics in specific tend to think that all Catholic priests are sick molesters....when we know, and they know it isn't true.  Our priests are Good, Holy, Loving, Kind, Caring People! Men of God! Those molesters weren't priests, they just snuck into the priesthood.

The media does not want you to see the cases of abuse by the Presbyterian, Anglican, Baptist, (all MARRIED) ministers....

We must pray. Pray for Our Holy Father, who is being attacked by the media's anti-Catholic agenda. Believe me. What he is doing is working.

Our Holy Priesthood is being attacked by these bigots.....forgive me of my judgement. Our Holy Priesthood, intituted by the Lord himself is under attack from these so called "centrist" medias.

I cannot count how many times I have had to tress that it is only the minority of Priests that have abused children. A very, very small minority at that.

+Oremus Pro Pontifice+
+Holy Mother of God, Pray for Us, We Implore Thee+
.Prayer for Priests.
+Keep them; I pray Thee, dearest Lord.
Keep them, for they are Thine
The priests whose lives burn out before
Thy consecrated shrine.
Keep them, for they are in the world,
Though from the world apart.
When earthly pleasures tempt, allure --
Shelter them in Thy heart.
Keep them and comfort them in hours
Of loneliness and pain,
When all their life of sacrifice
For souls seems but in vain.
Keep them and remember, Lord,
they have no one but Thee.
Yet, they have only human hearts,
With human frailty.
Keep them as spotless as the Host,
That daily they caress;
Their every thought and word and deed,
Deign, dearest Lord, to bless.+

How many Progressives does it take to screw in a lightbulb?

First of all, they must change their name like 400 times, Modernists, to Liberals, to Prgressives, to "Unique", to "A New Way", etc... Then, they must find a different way to put it in then just screwing it in like the normal person would do, because screwing it in is too "traditional". They're too thickheaded, so there is no use trying to tell them how. How many Progressives does it take? Well, you see, thats debateable. They'll try just one, If they can't reach the lightbulb with one person, then they can't use a ladder or a stool, or on ones shoulders because thats too traditional. They must find a "different" way, they will experiment with the ways first. Then, I just don't know. There is too much experementation going one, too much "New Ways". That's how they go about the liturgy too. The Mass, is the Holy Sacrifice, an unbloody Sacrifice of Our Lord's body. He is consumed, reverently, by us. Our Lord. It's a sacrifice, not a show.Progressives try to experement with the liturgy, with dancers, and lay homiliy, and now even lay gospel reading. Yes, we are supposed to be active participents and Pope St. Pius X stressed! But not in a way it turns the Mass into a broadway show, with scantily clad people dancing around the church.

Only Catholics can pull this off!....

Only we can pull this off.

St. Michael's Boy Choir Announcement!

The Boys choir of St. Michael's Cathedral are having a concert at St. John the Baptist Church, in Burlington, Ontario, on Friday, April 16th at 7:30pm.

In Persona Christi

You know a priest is orthodox, when he preaches on sin and vocations, not global warming and green trees. You know a priest is catechising his church properly when you walk in and see a 12 year old boy praying the Rosary.
You absolutely know a priest is orthodox when he doesn't allow women in the sanctuary, and only has Altar Boys.
You can tell when a priest is orthodox when the the hippies in the pews are angry because he doesn't add "Brothers and Sisters" to the bible verses that only say "Brethren".
You can tell a priest is orthodox when the closest hymn to "contemporary hymns" he's allowed is For All the Saints.
You know a priest is orthox when he is reverent in all things he does.
Being a priest is God's gift. It's a calling....

High Church, Broad Church, Low Church.

The Traditional Catholics, who are fiercely loyal to Pope Benedict XVI, who are orthodox, and are by the book as the High Church
The Catholics, who are commonly called "Contemporary Catholics", as the Broad Church

The "Catholics" who love dancing and prancing about in the sanctuary, lay preaching, priests in rainbow vestments, want to somehow "protestantize" the church, and love nuns in albs without habits, a.k.a Progressives, as the Low Church

What I have posted above is very problematic. You see, the way I have seperated them into 3 groups as the "High Church", "Broad Church", and "Low Church" is the way that Anglicans, and Anglican groups identify themselves.

Anglicans who want an All male, celibate priesthood, traditional liturgies, etc.. are the High Church

Anglicans who are contemporary, or so-called "of today", are the Broad Church

Anglicans who want to stress their protestant identity, progressive, pro-womens "ordination", etc are the Low Church

Can you see how some people would distinguish the Catholic church this way?
Thos who love the TLM, are firecely loyal to Pope Benedict, etc... as the High Church Catholics
Those who are apparently "of today" and "contemporary" as the Broad Church Catholics
and
Those who want people dancing, and flitting like a flutterbye without wings in the sanctuary, the progressives, as the Low Church Catholics...

Not that I am comparing the church this way, I am just saying that, can't you see how someone could explain the church this way?

Although, distinguishing the church into 3 groups like this makes it seem as if the church was three different churches, and that they are all seperate from one another....making this, a bad way to explain our Holy Mother Church.

That makes 8!

Hermit Sans Permit, and V, welcome! Thank you for following my blog! That makes 8 Loyal Readers! Plus those who still read, but don't follow! I hope you are enjoying.

May God be Good....

When interpreting Extra Ecclesiam Nulla Salus, we must interpret it the proper way, the way the Catechism teaches it. Fr. Feeney, did not believe in the baptism of the desire, or baptism of blood which the church has affirmed!

I am not really a Feeneyite. I can tell you, that to be Catholic, you do not choose what you believe. You must believe what the church teaches, that's what it means to be fully Catholic. If you disagree with wat the church says, then your not Catholic. We see this in the many dissidents in the church, and the progressive "lay pastoral leaders". Also, many bishops and priests openly deny church doctrine, and openly twist the dogmas of our holy Mother Church.
Therefore, they spit in the face of the church. Please, do not spit in the face of the church. If you are going to do so, why are you Catholic? Why are you even in the Priesthood?!

"The Church has always held the firm conviction that those who suffer death for the sake of the faith without having received Baptism are baptized by their death for and with Christ. This Baptism of blood, like the desire for Baptism, brings about the fruits of Baptism without being a sacrament" Amen to that!

Fr. Feeney didn't believe this, and plus, he was disobedient to the Jesuits, and so therefore, along with a few other things, being gravely disobedient to church law, and repeatedly warned, he was excommunicated. He was later reconciled.

Fr. Feeney founded the Slaves of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (The Saint Benedict Center).
There is one in Still River, which, to my knowledge do believe in baptism of desire, and are not Feeneyites any longer, though they defend his good name. The Saint Benedict Center in Still River, follows the Benedictine Rule.

As for the other Saint Benedict Center, in Richmond, they say they are in communion with the church, but I am not sure. They seem anti-semetic.

God Bless You, , for it is Easter. I hope you have a Blessed Easter, and may God be good to you!

Remember that book review?

Remember the book review about that book from Sophia Institute? Well, unfortunately... I kinda stopped reading it for a while, and read a book on the life of St. Gabriel Possenti, and so.....yeah. I will have the book review by the end of April....

I am such a bad person....
